Oaksey Youth Club is designed for Junior members aged 6-11 and we meet in the Youth Hut behind Oaksey Primary School every Thursday, during term time, from 5.15pm until 6.45pm.
Oaksey Youth Club provides a safe and inclusive environment where different activities and opportunities are offered and members have time to socialise with each other. It’s staffed by a paid leader assisted by parent volunteers who are DBS checked and first aid trained.
The sessions costs £2 with an additional 50p towards tuck which is usually a choice of sweets or crisps with squash.
We have baking sessions at least once a term and this is their tuck on these occasions.
We also run occasional music workshop days with trained music leaders, during which young people work in groups to create their own music, using either their own instruments or some of those owned by the club.
There is also ping pong, snooker, arts and crafts, dodgeball and much more, so come down and see if it’s for you!
Youth Club session dates (Thursdays) for 2019:
