The Malmesbury Concert Band

The Malmesbury Concert Band is a concert wind band, which performs appropriate classical, popular and original music

  • in bandstands in municipal parks
  • at public concerts
  • in providing musical support at Remembrance Day services at Malmesbury Abbey
  • as ‘background’ music at fêtes and at similar events.

It comprises competent amateur woodwind, brass (and percussion) instrumentalists drawn from the local community and environs (including Oaksey) and is always, subject to vacancies, happy to welcome additional musicians, without audition.

Rehearsals take place on Friday evenings (7.15pm to 9.15pm) at:

Malmesbury, SN16 0BX 

 

Malmesbury Concert Band is a concert wind band with approximately 25 woodwind, brass and percussion playing members (and we can also use a String Bass!).  Subject to vacancies, it’s always happy to welcome new members.  The Band is also pleased to receive requests to play at events in the local area.
